Rosenstein, Fist & Ringold actively seeks to add lawyers with
outstanding potential and proven abilities. The firm seeks to grow
primarily through the hiring of recent graduates, but also considers the
hiring of experienced attorneys whose expertise and reputation will allow
Rosenstein, Fist & Ringold to better serve its clients or to expand its
services into compatible new areas of law.
Each
summer the firm conducts a summer associate program. The program is open
to law students who have completed their second year of law school. The
firm conducts interviews for these positions at area law schools and
conducts interviews, in its offices, of students from other schools. The
firm seeks to have four qualified students participate in the program each
year – two each for six-week sessions that are divided by the July 4th
holiday. During the program, students are exposed to the breadth of the
firms’ practice and are given the opportunity to experience the “life of a
new associate” with the firm. Since the program allows both the firm and
the student to learn much more about each other than is possible through
the interview process, the firm views its summer associate program as its
primary tool for recruiting new lawyers.
